From old Turin Mus.catalogue: Male figurine. Hard and compact wood. Standing with the left leg (of which only a stump remains) advanced. He wears a short skirt in which a hole suggests the presence of a pendant inserted. Rounded wig descending to cover the ears, of the two eyes, already inserted, the right one is missing. Arms inserted by means of shoulder pins (preserved) are missing. At the pectorals two holes indicate the nipples. The right leg lacks the foot. The wig is painted in black. The knuckles are indicated by concentric lines of triangles with apex at the top. Extremely fine and with attention to detail. | |
