Female offering bearer Two wooden figures of offering bearers were found in Qubbet el-Hawa during the work of the University of Bonn. They date to the early Middle Kingdom, around 2000 BC. (See companion model) This shorter figure (on the right in the museum display) measures 41,5 cm x 10,8 cm. She is carrying a trapezoid box on her head. Her white knee-length dress has a pattern around the deep V-kneck. | |
