Man grinding grain. Exc. by Schiaparelli at Asyut 1908. It is clear that this figure is male (e.g. red skin, hair style) although grinding corn is usually done by women. FIP-MK. Ht 29cm base 41.5x8.5x3 cm [Beyond the Pyramids p.78] Schiaparelli excavated Asyut for the Turin Museum in the early 20th century, but he did not publish his excavations. | |
