GlobalEgMus web page: Statuette of a weaver The statuette represents a squatting woman with her slightly bent arms attached by pegs stretched forward and downwards. She wears a tripartite wig and a traditional dress. This is an image of a weaver working at a loom. The body is painted yellow, the whites and the dress are white, the wig, eyebrows, eyelids and pupils are black. Height= 13.7 (cm) Note Preservation: The left arm and the feet that were made separately are lost. The pigments are partly lost. | |
