GlobalEgMus web page: Statuette of a cook (?) The statuette represents a squatting man with an outstretched pegged left arm. He wears a knee-long garment and a wig covering his ears. The body is painted red, the garment is white, the wig is black; some traces of the black pigment survived in the eyes. Parallels make it possible to suppose that the statuette is an image of a man cooking. Height= 11.8 (cm) Note For parallels see J.H.Breasted, Egyptian Servant Statues.
