Man Museum website: Accession Number 6600 Wooden model of a servant figure, on a rectangular, wooden base. Yellow skin (female?), black wig, white kilt, wrapped in linen. Height (cm) 24.0. Width (cm) 5.0. First Intermediate Period, Bibliography: [Petrie/Brunton] Sedment I, pl. xvii, fig. 5 (right). ----------------------------- Petrie/Brunton Sedment p.7 allocation to tomb 1525. ------------------------------------------ Tooley-1989 p. 219: Tomb 1525. Female figure with feet together resembling the above pair.[6597a-b] There is no load on the head, but a small bird is held in the right hand (1924a, 7, XVII:5; Breasted 1948, 62). ------------------------------------------ Tooley-1989 and Man.
