Description
MFA website : Painted wooden model of a granary building containing three male figures; one sitting with writing board on lap, one standing and carrying a sack of grain, one bending and using a pail to collect grain. The walls are painted beige, with a red door and red slanting line across the top.
Tooley-1989 (p101) : BMFA 21.409. H.29 x W.29 cms. Small square structure with low walls rising gently to low peaks < 10 deg). The walls are painted a buff colour with the tops of the walls ornamented with a red stripe and vertical red lines above. A red T marks each corner. The door is painted in the right corner. There do not appear to be any structures within the court but there are the figures of a grain measurer, a man carrying a sack and the scribe (Roehrig 1988, 113, fig. 58-9).
