Description
Kamal-1911 (p. 32):
3. Rectangular wooden granary (Length 44.5 cm., Width. 30 cm., Height 18 cm). The door is in the side close to the building and has two hinges, it opens outside and closes with a latch. The attic has seven compartments, three largest are placed in front and behind the four smaller ones. Except those closest to the stairs, they are all open and the top is reached by a flight of five steps. The workers walk on the partition walls to make the grains. The foreman (boisseleur) is in the yard: he pours the grain into a sack held by a worker who is bowed down to him. Two carriers have bags on their shoulders and are ready to climb the stairs. Two other bags are empty, awaiting their turn.
