Description | |
MFA website: This wooden tomb model depicts two male offering bearers attached to a roughly rectangular base board. They are painted reddish-brown with white kilts and short, black wigs. Their eyes are detailed in black and white. They stand with legs together and right arm held close at the side. In the left arm, each holds an object that is either a box or perhaps more likely a writing board, painted white. They also balance a white box on the tops of their heads. | |
