GlobalEgMus web page: Statuette of a Female Brewer This statuette is of a female brewer leaning over a big jar preparing beer. This servant is shown half nude and wearing only a long white kilt. She wears a wig over her natural hair, which is visible on her forehead. Around her neck is a large multicoloured faience necklace. The servant is depicted raising her head slightly to show her face or as if talking to someone. The beer was prepared in a big jar using fermented barley bread sprayed with date liquor.
