Burial of Mut-Hetepi

Site: Saqqara, Tomb: HMK159

Description:

The excavators thought that this was "probably an OK tomb reused and adapted (fig. 63)".
The burial was in a chamber at the N side of the shaft. It had been disturbed and the rectangular wooden coffin had been partly dragged out into the shaft. Inscription in blue. Name:????

Models had been placed in a recess at the south side of the shaft, but were very much damaged by damp. They comprised two boats and a kitchen scene with bread and beer making, butcher, etc.
