Rifeh

Rifeh is the name of a series of cemeteries on the west bank of the Nile in Middle Egypt. These cemeteries belonged to the town of Shashotep, which was an important centre of the Upper Egyptian 11th nome.

There are important rock cut tombs of the Middle Kingdom at this site.
