Burial of Karenen

Site: Saqqara, Tomb: Karenen

Description:

The tomb contained two coffins side by side with that of Karenen on the east side. This side of the tomb is shown in Quibell Pl XII. In the south-east corner of the tomb was a canopic chest belonging to Karenen. Karenen's coffin was better preserved that that of Nefersemdet.

The boats, offerings and models were placed on top and beside the coffin.
