Burial of K3y-Hnnt

Site: Meir, Tomb:


The burial was undisturbed and besides the coffin it contained: 8 wooden boats, 3 wooden sceptres, a wooden club, a hook consisting of two pieces, a pair of wooden sandals, a board (probably a bottom of a coffin), a wooden bed-head, and the following models:
  • a granary
  • a brewery
  • a bakery
  • a pair of oxen ploughing
  • a pair of pack donkeys
  • and an offering bearer.

From inscriptions on the burial equipment the name of the owner was determined to be K3y-Hnnt.
