Description
Breasted -- 3. Berlin Museum, 14202 (Pl. 85a). Middle Kingdom. The pose of this female figure is very much the same as that of [Brooklyn 13.1024], except that the elbows are bent and the distance between the feet and hands is proportionately greater. She wears a short skirt; her headdress closely resembles that of Cairo Museum 248. According to Dr. Anthes, similar limestone figures have been discovered in Middle Kingdom burials at El Bersheh.
