Description
Lauer-1950 pp. 17: ... two figures [which were found amongst the distrurbed contents of the sedab] must have been part of a kitchen model where bread or cakes were prepared, some of which are described below. One is a standing man wearing a white loincloth with his right arm folded over his chest; his height is about 19.2 cm. The other is a young woman kneeling (height = 13.5 cm) with her right arm bent over her chest and her left arm resting on her knees. She wears a long dress with a neckline at the back, a wide yellow belt, and in her hair a clear ribbon tied and crossed behind her head. [Also found were ] Small simulated kitchen objects in limestone painted in red-brown, comprising: a stack of bread or cake moulds (top.= 10.5 cm), three small circular trays of 9 centimeters in diameter, and a truncated cone container with indication of the lid in place (top.=7cm).
